Call for applications – Cybercrime Summer School 2025



The Security, Privacy, Identity and Trust Engagement Network Plus, SPRITE+, invites applications from PhD students for five funded places at the University of Strathclyde’s Cybercrime Summer School 2025, which will take place on 25 – 29 August, 2025 at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. Up to five grants covering registration, economy travel and accommodation will be awarded.

The Cybercrime Summer School will cover a range of themes including:

  • New models of cyber policing,

  • AI cybersecurity,

  • Cyber resilience.

Successful applicants will be students currently enrolled in a PhD programme at a UK University. To be considered, please send your application (in PDF format) to admin@spritehub.org, with the subject line ‘Cyber Crime Summer School Application’ by the closing date (Friday 16th May 2025) with three attachments:

  1. A CV (no more than two A4 pages).

  2. A cover letter of no more than a page covering your motivations for applying for participation in the program and the expected benefits for your personal development.

  3. A letter of support from your PhD supervisor.
