About the program

The HC2P’s 2025 summer program will focus on human aspects of cybersecurity from the following three perspectives:

  • Society and Human Centric Cybersecurity

  • Regulation and Human Centric Cybersecurity

  • Behaviour and Human Centric Cybersecurity

The program combines directed learning, practical experiences and hands on research that will not only provide you with real world skills and contacts but also authorship of a published report on cybersecurity. For reference, the 2023 edition yielded a report “Decrypting Ransomware” which examined the phenomena of ransomware in Canada in terms of the issues and potential solutions through societal, regulatory and behavioural lenses.
