Introducing six new SPRITE+ funded research projects!

In June 2025 we hosted our fifth sandpit focused on 'Resilience and TIPSS', in conjunction with SALIENT (Building a Secure And Resilient World: Research and Coordination Hub).

From this hybrid event, six projects were chosen, covering a range of topics from criminal justice to digital vulnerabilities and energy supply chains. We are excited to announce that the six sandpit projects we will be funding are:

• 'Building Societal Resilience Against Misinformation Among Vulnerable Groups' - led by Dr Anita Khadka

• 'EVERESTS: Empowering VulnErable populations’ RESilience in Trustworthy Safe Spaces' - led by Dr Abir Awad

• 'Lex Lata 2075: Imagining the Future of Law and Legal Professionals' - led by Mrs Tash Buckley

• 'Opening our eyes to the Panopticon' - led by Dr Katharina Burger

• 'ResChain: Cognitive-Responsive Risk Communication and Representation for Resilient Energy Supply Chains' - led by Dr Muntadher Sallal
