Our second Academic–Industry Engagement Meeting was successfully held at Plexal East London, bringing together representatives from major tech companies, SMEs, and government agencies in a dynamic "speed-dating" format. Participants engaged with SPRITE+ Expert Fellows to identify shared research interests and explore potential areas for collaboration.
The event featured extended networking sessions with many stimulating conversations and connections. This year, we were especially pleased to welcome PhD students to the event. These Early Career Researchers had the valuable opportunity to present their work to industry professionals and senior academics, gaining crucial experience in research communication and engagement.
We are proud to continue fostering meaningful collaboration between TIPS academics and external organisations through our funded academic placement initiatives.
