Join the SPRITE+ team as a Research Associate (XRCET-TIPSS)

We have a vacancy for a Research Associate to work on the SPRITE+ XRCET TIPSS Deep Dive! This is a great opportunity for a first or second postdoc position - please share with potential candidates.

It's not a traditional research project - we already have a well-developed project outline - but it will build your expertise in reviewing and applying the research literature. This post will give you great networking opportunities and exposure to impact and research translation activities - invaluable whether you are thinking of staying in academia or moving on.

The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of running the Deep Dive, from carrying out rapid literature reviews to engaging with non-academic end users to being involved in the creative communication of our findings. Our ideal candidate will have a background in immersive tech and/or other emerging tech, be familiar with technical and/or social science/humanities perspectives on technology risk and harms, and open to engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, from industry to regulators to the general public.

The post is 12 months full-time, but we are also open to part-time options. A PhD is an essential requirement, but we will consider applicants who have submitted but are awaiting their viva.
