About the event

The talk is aimed at people who have limited familiarity with these new technologies and their applications. Prof Barrett will draw on the results of a recent scoping review of relevant research to highlight the range and nature of TIPSS risks and harms, and potential ways of mitigating harm.
Emma is a Professor of Psychology, Security, and Trust, and the University of Manchester’s strategic lead for Digital Trust and Security. Her role involves developing a multi-disciplinary community of researchers to apply their expertise to all aspects of digital security.
