This one-day event brought together academics and police force research departments to identify and develop a research agenda for AI’s role in policing, focusing on Trust, Identity, Privacy, and Security (TIPS). Our goal was to set the research agenda for the this important topic.
This innovation forum was aimed at attendees interested in how AI transforming law enforcement practices, exploring the current and future impact of AI technologies on policing or discussing the ethical considerations in the balance between innovation and protection of civil liberties.
